Paradox Sports is the national leader in adaptive climbing. This nonprofit organization has supported the launch of more than 75 adaptive climbing clubs and programs around the United States and published the first-ever Adaptive Climbing Manual that is being utilized in the industry internationally with hundred of facilitators, climbing gyms and universities trained on best practices for adaptive climbing, helping create more accessible programs and gym space for individuals with disabilities.

Each year since inception in 2007, Paradox serves over 400 participants in over 1,500 adaptive climbing experiences. They provide signature Legacy Outdoor Trips in some of the most iconic climbing destinations in the country each year, as well as grassroots local programs to build community around accessible opportunities. Their goal is to make climbing accessible to all, and so far they've run programs in 31 states.

Most importantly, Paradox Sports has empowered their participants with the self-confidence, skills, and independence to engage in the outdoors, access the beautiful places they love, and belong to a community that provides camaraderie, support and overall well-being. Common disabilities Paradox Sports serve include individuals with visual/ hearing impairments, neuromuscular disorders, spinal cord injuries, paraplegics, amputees, autism, post-traumatic stress disorder, and traumatic brain injuries.
