Adaptive Climbing Initiative Community Climbing Day
Paradox Sports has put together a comprehensive training program to welcome people with physical disabilities into the climbing community. This Community Climbing Day is the second day of a 2 day training course and welcomes Veterans with physical disabilities out for a morning of climbing in the beautiful Staunton State Park. This day is ideal for Veterans with a physical disability who are brand new to the sport and interested in giving climbing a try, we'd love to have you join us!
What To Bring
The climbing event will be hosted outdoors at Staunton State Park. Please bring climbing gear if you own it (harness, shoes, helmet), water, snacks, any anything else you may need to be comfortable for the morning (medications, sunscreen, etc.). Dress code is casual and should be suitable for climbing in an outdoor environment, please be prepared with layers for both rain and sun protection as weather can shift quickly in the mountains. If you need to borrow any gear, please let us know in your registration.

Travel: Attendees are responsible for their own travel.
Cancellation Policy: As a courtesy to others who may be on a Waiting List, please notify Paradox Sports as soon as possible if you can no longer attend the training.
Prerequisite Climbing Skills
Adaptive Climbers: If you are an individual who is a Veteran with a disability, there are no pre-requisites to joining the Adaptive Climbing Community Day! We welcome all experience levels and disabilities to join for our free half day climbing event.
